Cancer Screening for Men

Who needs a Cancer screening and why?

Men should be screened for prostate cancer, colon and testicular. Men who are high risk such as smokers or those with a family history also need to get checked out by the doctors too because they could develop lung or skin cancers as well! And individuals that have certain genetic syndromes like Familial Adenomatous Polyposis (a syndrome where you're born with many polyps) might require checking once every year since their bodies are more likely than others' will be carriers of this disease without knowing it - so keep up on your annual exams just in case!

Men over 40 years old have an increased chance at getting any one type of secondary tumors if diagnosed early enough before spread has occurred. There's even research that suggests some genetic syndromes may increase your chances--so make sure check yourself regularly no matter what type it is:

  • Prostate cancer
  • Testicular cancer
  • Colorectal (colon) cancer
  • Other cancers
